Through your Corporate Matching Program . . .

Many employers have charitable matching foundations, which will, in many cases, double your personal contribution to HHLT. Please contact your employer’s human resources department to obtain a copy of their matching gift form, fill out the employee portion and forward it to us – we’ll do the rest!

Through a Planned Gift . . .

A bequest to HHLT translates your commitment to protect the Hudson Highlands into a lasting legacy. If you are considering a gift to the Land Trust as part of your estate plan, you can add a simple provision to your will such as: “I give (specific amount, percentage or residue) to Hudson Highlands Land Trust, Inc. (tax ID# 13-3528266), having its principal offices at 20 Nazareth Way, Garrison, NY 10524, for its general purposes.” Or, HHLT can work with you to craft a more customized bequest. As an accredited land conservation organization committed to conserving land in perpetuity, the Hudson Highlands Land Trust maintains unrestricted financial reserves of approximately $7mm in board-designated funds. The first priorities for these funds are enforcement and stewardship of our conserved properties, with excess available for land acquisitions. These funds are separate from general operating funds and are about six times our most recent annual expenses, totaling about $1.1mm.
