Join us for an exploration of the native and non-native plants at Lane Gate Preserve at Hidden in Plain Sight: A Field Guide to Discovery, on August 7! Participate in an educational scavenger hunt to find various native and introduced plants, and learn more about their impacts on the local environment. Take the time to explore the various ecosystems Lane Gate Preserve has to offer, from wetland to meadow; there’s so much to explore! HHLT Interns Sylvan and Meera will be walking around to answer questions and give hints. Once the scavenger hunt is complete, we will regroup for a short guided hike to Cat Pond.
Registration is required for all participants. This event is open to all ages; participants under 15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Admission is free, and you’ll receive more details via email after registering. Please note that there are no restrooms at the preserve.
