Join HHLT staff and partners from the New York Natural Heritage Program and Putnam Highlands Audubon Society on Monday, May 11 from 10am to 12pm at Lane Gate Preserve in Cold Spring, NY! This free guided bird walk takes place at the peak of spring migration, the ideal time to spot and hear migratory birds at their most active. Participants will be led through the preserve, learning to identify and observe incredible bird species in their natural habitat. This program is open to ages 14 and older, and all participants must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required by May 7. Admission is free, and you’ll receive more details via email after registering.
Please note there are no restrooms at the preserve. Have binoculars? Bring them along! Loaner supplies are limited.
